Research Interests and Experience
Megan Hughes is an Assistant Professor and Extension Specialist in land and crop markets. She joined KSU in the fall of 2024 after completing both her master’s and PhD in agricultural economics at Purdue University. She grew up on an independent seed farm in Northern Illinois. Her research and extension program focuses on farm management and agricultural finance. Recent work evaluates FSA farm loan programs and producer sentiment.
