Research Interests and Experience

My research interests encompass natural resource and environmental economics, energy economics, agricultural and energy policy, and applied econometrics. The main focus of my research is on water use and quality, renewable energy economics, land use, and optimal environmental policy design. I have secondary interests in risk management in agricultural production, food and energy security, climate change economics, and crop insurance. The overall goal of my research is to provide analysis on the impacts of agricultural policy on the environment that can be relevant and useful to academic, industry, and policymaker audiences.
